Published Langleybury cricket records

Langleybury’s published record sheets preserve a much wider playing history than the first XI’s best-known cup appearances. The club’s records page, reviewed on 2 November 2026, linked 16 distinct sheets, numbered 12–26 and 28, with entries through 2025. This selection reports the club’s figures; it is not a new all-time statistical audit. Club records collection.

First XI: batting and partnerships

First XI: bowling, fielding and totals

Sources: printed page 13, bowling and printed page 14, fielding and totals. The 1957 Davey entry precedes the sheet’s 1961 coverage heading. The printed year is retained here with that discrepancy visible; it has not been silently altered. Paul O’Reilly’s ten-wicket match also has dated newspaper support.

Second XI

Third XI

Sources: printed page 17 and printed page 18. The 2024 entries show that the collection continues beyond the older Pitchero record sets, which ended in 2018.

Fourth XI and Development XI

What the coverage labels mean

The older club information index labels records for the first XI from 1961, the second XI from 1973, the third XI from 1980 and the fourth XI from 1998. These describe the collections’ stated coverage. They are not proof that each side began in those years. Older records index.

An asterisk or the words not out are meaningful: 403 and 403 not out are different records. Opposition names, team suffixes and the distinction between a season aggregate and a single match also need to remain intact.
